About Us

R.A. Mayville and Associates, Inc. has the goal of providing engineering services in several areas related to the mechanical behavior of materials. Ron Mayville, the principal, has a Ph.D. and is a registered professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in contract R&D and consulting. He was previously with Arthur D. Little, Inc. conducting technical work, leading projects (including product development projects) and presenting results to clients. He has conducted several projects, some of which are described in other pages of this web site. Dr. Mayville conducts finite element analysis using the computer program ABAQUS and has laboratory facilities available for materials characterization and mechanical testing.
